Privacy Policy
Effective: November 1, 2026
BuraTech SolutionsLLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) develops Teleprompter Focus(“the App”) and operates teleprompterfocus.com. This policy covers the App, our website, and support correspondence. No account is required to use the App.
The App is not yet publicly available. The app analytics described below is planned for launch; it is separate from the website analytics currently used on this site.
On-Device Processing
Scripts, recordings, captions, transcripts, preferences, and selected custom background images are stored in the App’s local storage. We do not operate a server that receives your scripts, recordings, captions, or background images. Local video effects use Apple’s Vision and Core ML frameworks, including a bundled segmentation model. They do not send camera frames to the model’s publisher. Speech processing and sharing are explained below.
Permissions
- Camera and microphone: enable camera preview, video and audio recording, and voice-follow. The capture session can start when you open the camera screen, before you tap Record.
- Speech recognition:enables voice-follow and caption transcription using Apple’s speech services.
- Photos:saving a video requests add-only access. Choosing a custom background uses Apple’s photo picker to provide only the image you select.
- Files and Share Sheet: let you import scripts and export recordings through the destination you choose.
You can change camera, microphone, speech, and Photos permissions in iOS Settings. Denying a permission can prevent the related feature from working. Photos access is not used to import scripts.
Speech Recognition
Voice-follow and caption transcription use Apple’s Speech framework. Recognition runs on your device where supported. Some recognition paths may send audio to Apple for processing when on-device recognition is unsupported. These features request speech permission, and Apple’s processing is governed by its privacy terms. We do not receive this audio on our servers. Recognition availability and offline operation depend on your device, language, and installed speech assets.
App Usage Analytics
At launch, we plan to use PostHog to understand how the App is used and improve its reliability. Where app analytics is enabled, we send explicit events about onboarding, script creation or import, paywall and checkout activity, recording, captions, and exporting. Associated information includes bounded error codes, feature options, recording-duration ranges, and free, trial, or paid access status. Checkout intent may include the product, displayed price, and currency; it does not confirm that a purchase was completed.
Events include a random installation identifier and event time. The identifier lets us associate events from the same installation; this data is pseudonymous, not fully anonymous. We do not send scripts, titles, transcripts, captions, filenames, audio, video, payment details, or purchase receipts to PostHog. The integration does not use advertising identifiers, session replay, automatic screen capture, or person profiles.
App analytics is for product analysis and reliability, not targeted advertising or cross-company advertising tracking. We plan to retain app analytics events for no more than two months. Production analytics will remain disabled until the applicable regional requirements, retention limit, and user controls are in place. We will obtain consent where required, and you may contact us to withdraw consent, object to processing, or request deletion.
PostHog necessarily handles the network connection, which can expose your source IP address to its infrastructure. Our event payload suppresses IP-based geographic enrichment and does not intentionally include location information. See PostHog’s privacy information.
Purchases
Apple processes purchases and payments through StoreKit. The App uses verified transactions and current entitlements to determine premium access. We do not receive payment-card details or upload receipts to a developer-operated server. App analytics may report access status and checkout intent as described above. Apple manages its purchase records under its own privacy policy.
Sharing and Connected Services
Recordings are first stored in the App’s recordings library. Save to Photos, Save to Files, or Share creates a copy in your chosen destination. Shared filenames can contain a script title and date. The destination app or provider may upload, sync, or retain that copy under its own terms and your settings. Cloud-backed document and photo providers may need internet access to retrieve imports or selected images.
The Apple Watch remote exchanges recording and playback controls and state with your paired iPhone. It does not send scripts, recordings, or transcripts to us. System backups and iCloud Photos may store copies according to your Apple settings; the App does not disable system backups.
Website Analytics and Hosting
Our website is hosted through Cloudflare, which processes network requests and technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
With your permission, this website uses PostHog to measure page visits, referral sources, campaign tags, browser viewport size, and clicks on links to our App Store listing. PostHog receives network information when your browser connects; we disable IP-based location enrichment. Website analytics does not collect your scripts or recordings and is not linked to your activity in the iOS App.
Analytics stays off until you select “Allow.” We store your preference in your browser. If you allow analytics, PostHog also uses browser storage for a random analytics identifier and session information. We disable session replay, automatic interaction capture, advertising features, and person profiles, and remove query strings and fragments from recorded page and referral URLs. Campaign tags are recorded separately; do not include personal information in them.
You can decline or withdraw permission using “Analytics settings” in the footer. Withdrawal stops future collection and clears PostHog analytics storage in this browser; it does not erase events already sent. Do Not Track is respected. Contact us to ask about previously collected data or deletion. PostHog processes analytics on our behalf; see its privacy policy. Your choice applies to this website and does not enable analytics in the App.
Support
If you email us, we and our email service provider receive your address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to answer requests and troubleshoot problems. Please send only relevant details and redact unrelated personal information from receipts or screenshots. We retain support correspondence while needed to resolve your request and related follow-up, or to meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it.
Third-Party Services
Recipients include Apple for system services and purchases, PostHog for app analytics when enabled and consented website analytics, Cloudflare for hosting and security, and our email service provider for support. We require providers acting on our behalf to protect information and use it for the services they provide. We do not sell personal information or share app analytics for targeted advertising. Information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, depending on the provider and service location. Where required, appropriate contractual safeguards must be in place before those transfers occur.
Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete scripts and recordings through the App’s library controls. Deleting a recording removes its app-managed video, metadata, and transcript. Deleting the App removes its app-managed local storage according to iOS behavior; offloading the App keeps its documents and data. Original imported files, exported or shared copies, and backups must be managed separately in the relevant app or service. Deleting the App does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Deleting the App or changing an installation identifier does not delete analytics events already received, website data, or support correspondence. To request access, correction, deletion, or to object to processing, email us using the address below. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to restrict processing, receive a portable copy of your data, or complain to a data protection authority. We may need information to locate the relevant records and verify your request. We do not ask you to send your scripts or recordings to identify an analytics record. We may retain information where required for legal obligations or resolving disputes.
